The RavenMy granny had a raven  his name was Edgar A,  and every time I visited  she brought him out to play.  He was a stately raven  but he had a fearful squawk,  so Granny took it on herself  to teach him how to talk.   
She bought the books, she bought the tapes,  the Raven Linguaphone,  but every time she got them out  the bird began to moan.  His theory was that learning  English grammar was a bore.  He’d learnt the word he needed  so proceeded never more.   
Poor Granny, who had worked so hard  to teach the bird to talk  became exasperated & The Raven

I mooched around Vietnam for a month and a half, falling off mopeds, drinking hooch with the locals and generally misbehaving myself. Expect some Nam-inspired artwork sometime soon. Many thanks for the welcome back. Bloody cold here...!

haha yeah, the rains a real problem here in england too. lol i know, running is quite scary!
no i didn't fall, i've still not fallen over on them yet, i was running and because i was too impatient to wait for the knee pads and the other safety stuff to come, and i stopped too suddenly and kind of bent my knee the wrong way (ouch) but that won't put me off, tis my own fault for not wearing the safety stuff. my twin has some powerisers too but she is quite crap (no offense to her) she's fallen over about 5 times already *rolls eyes* she said it didn't hurt at all though, i think it's because you fall so slowly on them, i wouldn't worry about it if i were you.

I only got mine the other day too, and I'm living in Wales at the moment, so it rains all the time... Not had a big chance to practise! But I can jump around a bit and I can sort of run on them (scary!) Did you hurt your knee from falling over? I'm really afraid I'm gonna fall soon 'cause I haven't yet... Is it horribly terrifying?!

well i only got them the other day, but i can walk on them and run and kind of jump, but i'm still a bit crap :giggle: and i was running on them the other day and i managed to really hurt my knee lol but i'm fine now so i'll be back on them probably tomorrow :D
what can you do on yours then?
